Are my files sent anywhere?
No. Easy4Privacy works only on your PC and runs offline. No documents, data or statistics leave the computer.
Is the original file modified?
Never. Easy4Privacy creates an anonymised copy and leaves the original as it was.
Which files are supported?
Word, Excel, CSV and PDF, including scans.
What's in the report?
For each file: outcome, date and time, user and computer, a digital fingerprint of original and copy, and the redacted items by category, with values always masked.
Can I fit it to my documents?
Yes: you can set terms never to touch, names to always redact and rules to switch on or off.
How does licensing work?
After the 7-day trial you activate a licence bound to your computer, right from the app. Purchasing and renewals through Easy & Fast.
Which systems and languages?
Windows PCs. The interface is in Italian today; the English version is coming soon. It recognises data in Italian, English, French and German.
Does it guarantee all data is removed?
No tool can. Easy4Privacy is a support tool: it points out files to double-check, but the final check before sharing is yours.
